All of Years 7 to 10 enjoyed some time away from the classroom grind to enjoy God’s creation. Spanning three days and two nights, the students stayed in dorm-style accommodation in the south of Sydney and teachers planned various activities for each of the age groups so there was no chance of boredom! Canoeing, trampolining rock climbing…the list was endless. Year 9 also had the amazing opportunity to canoe to a secluded camping spot and hike several kilometres through some of the most spectacular bushland in our country.
The camps were a great way to experience a different kind of learning, and gave students time to forge strong friendships with peers and other students in Secondary school. Some weary bodies returned but with loads of smiles.
