SHCS was established to support Christian parents in providing an education for their children in accord with their faith and home life. Over the years many other parents have seen the benefits of a Christian education and the environment we offer and have desired to have their own children attend SHCS. These parents want their children’s education to take place within a moral Christian environment and are supportive of the Christian ethos as the basis of that education. As such, the School is not exclusive, but a majority Christian family culture will always be prevalent. Parents of enrolled students are required to meet the School Service Policy.
We warmly welcome your enrolment enquiry! Please contact our Registrar, Mrs Jacqui Godden, through the contact form below for further information, to obtain a prospectus or to book a tour of our School.
Our enrolment process is deliberately structured to clarify parental expectations and awareness. We realise not everyone who starts the enrolment process will submit an application.
$220 payable when the Application for Enrolment is lodged and covers the family.
$500 payable within two weeks of the letter of approval and covers the family. At the termination of enrolment or conclusion of the education of the last child from the family at the School, the Enrolment Bond is refundable provided all outstanding liabilities and debts have been met. If, after payment of the Enrolment Bond, the family fails to take up the place secured at the School, the bond is non-refundable.
The Capital Levy of $500 is paid by a family enrolling their child/ren into Kindergarten after 1st March and up to Year 12. The Capital Levy is payable within the first school term of the first child beginning. If the family opt to pay their school fees by periodical direct debit, the Capital Levy may be incorporated into the periodical direct debit. The Capital Levy is not tax deductible.
